Both Gonjah
routes go through
a variety of veld types from aloes to fynbos in the
mountains and indigenous forest in the kloofs. The route climbs to 570m at its highest
point and there is a view site that offers a sweeping
vista of the valley. At the other end of
the trail visitors get a view of the Cockscomb mountain.
