We are situated at Patensie in the Eastern Cape, on the doorstep to the magnificent and undisturbed Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area in malaria-free surroundings.

Gamtoos B&B is close to Jeffrey’s Bay (known internationally for its surfing at Supertubes), St Francis Bay (marina), Port St Francis and Cape St Francis.  It is also close to the Garden Route with Plettenberg Bay, Knysna (oysters), George and Oudtshoorn (ostriches) not too far away.

To the east are Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Metropole) with its international airport and harbour as well as the billion dollar Coega development and Addo Elephant Park with the Graaff Reinet heritage area on the route north to Johannesburg.
